По весне пригрезится – я дома...
но до него – немыслимая даль...
и вместо бело-кипенных черёмух
в холод расцветает здесь миндаль.

Another springtide... in my day-dream I’m back home...
but I’m inconceivably far away from it...
and during a cold snap, instead of the white foam of bird-cherry trees,
I can only see almond-trees in blossom over here.
